TMMT is a World Class automotive production plant, which is capable of producing several types of vehicles in the same line. Plant is located on 917,000 m2 land, of which 502,000 m2 or more is covered with buildings. TMMT has Press, Welding, Paint, Vehicle Assembly, Engine Assembly, functions and a comprehensive environmental control facility.

Toyota Production System is fully utilized in all production steps. Production of a vehicle starts with press shop activities in the plant. Pre-cut steel metal sheets are squeezed in dies in order to form body panels. Metal parts are welded to each other thus; automobile gets its shape in welding shop. Vehicle bodies are coated by protective materials and finally painted in its final color at the paint shop. Assembly shop is the place where several parts, most of which are collected from local suppliers, are installed on the car.

Building high quality starts at the suppliers, which perfectly understands "Just in Time" concept of Toyota. The members who have a strong "quality" image in their minds build quality.
