Steel coils are transformed into separate flat metal sheets in some specific patterns. Each metal sheet is blanked to some shape so that the press line will easily form them.

Presses in two lines form those pre-cut metal sheets by exerting pressure in several dies. Larger parts are directed to fully automated first line, which is equipped with stronger machines, while smaller parts are shaped at the second line.

Die change is minimized by "kaizens-continuous improvement studies" which roots back to foundation times of Toyota Motor Company. Reduction of die change time results in decreased necessity to keep high stocks. High stock not only means unnecessary use of money and space but as well it makes discovery of problems more difficult.

Operators check quality level of the process continuously. Only the parts at high quality can go to welding shop to become a component of our vehicles.
