Sustainable development can be realized only with balanced and long-term use of resources. Recognizing the fact that, limited resources of the world must be used efficiently, Toyota invests in development of vehicles of future which release "0" dangerous gas emissions. Toyota's ultimate goal is contribution to protection of environment by producing "Eco" car of future through challenging works.

In order to achieve the above, Toyota focuses on the following three subjects;
Energy-saving adaptation: Improvement of the fuel efficiency of the gasoline and hybrid engines
Fuel diversification: Development of alternative energies (hydrogen etc.)
Promotion of these eco-friendly vehicles
