PHEV Battery Line

Toyota Automotive Industries Turkey (TMMT) has started PHEV battery production as of 2023. With the opening of this line, rechargeable cars were produced for the first time at Toyota European facilities. Equipped with the latest technology and safety systems, the new battery line has the capacity to produce 75 thousand batteries per year. Line equipment, software and installation were largely made by TMMT engineering and domestic sub-industry. The battery line is equipped with artificial intelligence-based quality systems.
