Production Control

Daily production management and synchronization of thousands of parts is coordinated by the Production Control group. Logistics is the key tool for this operation. "Mixed system", that is used by Toyota Turkiye for picking up parts from suppliers. There are dedicated trucks making a ring between Toyota Turkiye and suppliers. Every supplier prepares requested parts in small lots in front of their doors "just in time". Therefore, truck picks up "filled" boxes from suppliers and leaves empty boxes of previous shipment.

There is a good teamwork amount Toyota Turkiye, Toyota Motor Europe and logistics companies in delivery operation. Produced vehicles are queued in lines at stockyard and then loaded to trucks. Trucks transport them to Derince and Evyap ports from where they will be sent to final destinations via vessels.

This is the application of the Toyota Production System in Toyota Turkiye.
