History of production in Europe:

  • 1992, TMUK (UK plant) has started production of Avensis and Corolla.
  • 1994, TMMT (Turkiye plant) has started production of Corolla Sedan and Wagon.
  • 2001, TMMF (France plant) has started production of Yaris.
  • 2002, TMMT started exporting to Europe.
  • 2002, TMMP started production of transmission & engine.
  • 2004, TMMT started production of Verso.
  • 2005, TMIP started production of diesel engine.
  • 2005, TPCA started production.
  • 2007, TMMT started production of Auris.
  • 2007, TMMR started production.
  • 2009, TMMT produced 1 millionth vehicle.
  • 2013, TMMT re-started production of Corolla.
  • 2016, TMMT started production of Toyota C-HR.
  • 2017, TMMT produced 2 millionth vehicle.
  • 2019, New Corolla production started by TMMT & TMUK
  • 2021, TMMT produced 3 millionth vehicle
