Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkiye: ‘‘Golden Plant’’ in Europe and Africa Regions

TMMT was chosen best quality plant in Europe and Africa regions by the American JD Power independent research company and awarded  by “Golden Plant” prize.

In JD Power Initial Quality Study (IQS) research which evaluate vehicles sold in the American automotive market, TMMT was chosen best quality plant in Europe and Africa regions with its C-HR model. JD Power evaluated customers’ opinions who own C-HR vehicle after 90 days from buying it. At the end of the result of this research, TMMT awarded by ‘‘Golden Plant’’ prize.

According to this year's IQS assessment, the best vehicle in terms of quality among all vehicles produced in the Europe and Africa regions was determined as the Toyota C-HR..  As a result of the opinions of customers who were selected by randomly, TMMT took the first place among all vehicle producers in Europe and Africa regions. This award represents the highest quality-performing  plant in the world for initial quality.

TMMT President and CEO  Toshihiko Kudo, said  “Both TMMT and Turkiye have achieved significant success. This accomplishment is an improtant milestone that represents where Turkish automotive sector stands now. I would like to thank to all our employees and suppliers. From now on, our goal is to become best manufacturing plant not only in those regions but also all over the world.’’

TMMT is the 2nd biggest exporter of Turkiye and it exports its % 90 of its total production to 148 different counties in the world. TMMT continues to contribute Turkiye and Sakarya with its 2.1 billion $ investment value and 5500 employment.
