20 Millionth Toyota in Spain: Vers

Sakarya — Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkiye Inc. (TMMT) has announced that the 20 Millionth Toyota vehicle which sold in Europe was Verso proding by Turkiye Plant. 20 millionth vehicle sale was realised in Spain. During the hand over ceremony at Madrid in which Mr.Orhan Ozer-Toyota Turkiye President & CEO joined, Verso was handed over to the Spanish customer.

The event was attended by Miguel Fonseca, Vice President Sales & Marketing of Toyota Motor Europe (TME), Orhan Özer, President & CEO of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkiye (TMMT) as well as the top management of Toyota Spain, Katsuhito Ohno, President & CEO and Jacques Pieraerts, Vice President.

During the event, Mr. Sn.Orhan Özer said: “ I’m honoured that the 20 millionth Toyota vehicle sale in Europe is a Toyota Verso. Since 1994 when we started production in our plant in Turkiye we have built a tradition of Superior Quality and Reliability. Customers, who join to Toyota Family today, will notice that Verso offers a lot together with driving enjoyment, environmental performance and of course very high quality”.

As one of nine Toyota manufacturing plants across Europe, Toyota Turkiye produces both the Toyota Verso and Auris models. It employs some 3,000 employees and represents a total investment of €1.2 billion.
