International Women's Day Celebrated With Women Employees Of TMMT

TMMT celebrated 8 March International Women's Day, with a limited number of female employees in line with the pandemic conditions.

TMMT, which aims to increase diversity and supports efforts to improve the role of women in business life, held an event with a limited number of female employees on the occasion of 8 March International Women's Day, in line with the pandemic conditions. Simultaneously, the event was attended via the online platform, which included factory employees.

Speaking at the 8 March International Women's Day program, President and CEO Erdoğan Şahin, emphasizing the power of women and their importance in business life, said, "As TMMT, we continue our work within the scope of UNDP's Sustainable Development Goals and embrace Gender Equality."

Continuing his words with the necessity of ensuring equality between men and women for a sustainable success in the future, Şahin said, “In this direction, we have set goals to improve the diversity of men and women in our company. In order to achieve these goals we have set, we offer equal opportunities in our recruitment processes, in order to eliminate prejudices, if any. We are engaged in awareness raising activities. I congratulate all our female employees who are fighting for the future of our company on 8 March International Women's Day and thank them for their contributions to our day.”

After the speech, the program ended with the giving gifts and a photo shoot.
