New Toyota C-HR

Turkiye’s first local hybrid and SUV C-HR has been renewed. Since 2016, TMMT continued to produce C-HR model with the Corolla  model.

With huge investment, TMMT started to produce and export C-HR model in 2016. Once after 3 years, C-HR has been renewed. Generating 184 hp and CO2 emissions from just 118 g/km (WLTP), this system combines high efficiency with a significant increase in power and, through updatedsuspension and improved NVH, an even smoother, quieter ride and new levels of driving dynamics. Toyota C-HR has reached 500,000 production units from the beginning of its production.

New Toyota C-HR is a milestone for TMMT

Toyota C-HR is a very significant milestone for TMMT. As of November 2016,  TMMT started to produce Toyota C-HR model with 350 million € investment. TMMT annual production capacity increased 280,000 units from the 150,000 units. Hereby, TMMT has the biggest production volume in comparison to other Toyota plants which are located in Europe. In addition, TMMT became the first overseas company which started to produce TNGA platform along with C-HR model.

Until today, TMMT produced 500,000 units C-HR and exported 450,000 of them to 100 countries all over the World. Thanks to C-HR production experiences and knowledges, TMMT started to produce New Corolla Sedan including hybrid model in the beginning of this year. As a result, TMMT became the hybrid base in Turkey.

25th Year of Production

TMMT started production in 1994 and last month celebrated 25th year of production. With high qualified production capability, TMMT produced New Toyota C-HR model successfully in its production line.
