Result of Toyota Turkiye's Traffic Safety Picture Competition was announced, small children were awarded

Results of Toyota Turkiye's picture competition, which is toward elementary school 1st grade students with a theme "Cars and pedestrians in traffic, rules to be obeyed", are announced and the award ceremony was hold on 6th May at Serdivan Traffic Park. Among 370 pictures from 49 schools, the most successful 20 ones were awarded by Sakarya's local authorities and Toyota Turkiye's top managements.
 
President & CEO of Toyota Turkiye Mr.Orhan Özer made a speech in the ceremony and said as follows;
 
"We believe that children must have training on traffic safety in their early time, which is one of the biggest problems in Turkey. With this scope, we have been realising 'Traffic Safety Picture Competition' in order to raise children's awareness of traffic safety. Also, we have been organising 'Traffic safety school' at our plant, inviting elementary school 3rd grade students in the last 4 years. We have welcomed more than 5 thousand children to 'Traffic Safety School' up to today. Increase of safety belt usage ratio and the environment in which both drivers and pedestrians are more aware of traffic safety would make everyone comfortable and these will lead us to safer lives. I know that local authirities are very careful about this matter and show extra attention. I appreciate very much them about their interests."
