Technical Project Competition – 2011

6th Technical Project Competition has been realised with the collaboration of TMMT and Sakarya National Education Directorate on May, 2011 for the high school and junior high school students. Award ceremony has been done together with SABITEK-Sakarya Science, technology and career days event. Environment and automation category around 500 projects students developed 250 projects and 40 projects-74 students and 1 school have been awarded among them.
 
TMMT President&CEO Mr.Orhan Özer, Corporate Strategy Planning Coordinator Mr.Takanori Meguro and Corporate Communications Manager Mr.Muhsin Güneşlik joined to the award ceremony from TMMT.
 
President&CEO Mr.Orhan Özer made a speech and said:“In the last 6 years, more than 2000 students were involved to our competition with their great projects. This year new projects have been developed by young students and some of them were awarded. I thank all students who involved to the TMMT technical project competition and wish all successes in their career. Producing new ideas and implementing them is a basic culture in Toyota. All suggestions, all new ideas are precious for us. I hope all successful students will continue to develop their projects with kaizen mind. Finally, I thank all teachers who supported their students and Sakarya National Education Directorate for their sincere support”.
    
Top ten projects with 74 students have all been awarded with laptops, desktops, digital cameras.
