TMMT will employ 800 employee

TMMT restarted its operation by taking all necessary measures in its plant. In order to support employment and increase export and production target, TMMT will hire 800 employee in the following months through İŞKUR employment collaboration project.

TMMT contributes with its production and employment to Turkish economy and Sakarya. In line with this mission, TMMT signed a protocol with İŞKUR which includes short term adaptation and certificate courses to support qualified labor force. TMMT executives and İŞKUR Manager Tekin Kaya attended protocol signing meeting.  Along with this project, people who registered İŞKUR employment program will be employed in welding, paint and assembly divisions after the training program. Contractor employees who attended training programs in TMMT, may find a chance to be a permanent TMMT member in the end of 6 months.

Measures Against Coronavirus Continue Completely

TMMT took all measures and restarted its operations as of 11th of May. Since the restarting of production, TMMT continues its operations with applying detailed hygiene and social distancing rules. These measures are; controlling employees’ fever at the entrance of TMMT plant and if there is a high fever employee no allowed to enter to the plant, one and half meter social distancing meter rule, increasing cleaning workers and private security services to check the  new normal rules in plant.

TMMT President and CEO Toshihiko Kudo, said ‘‘ Nowadays, all the world and our country are challenging under these though conditions. As TMMT, we took all necessary measures and restarted our operations. We continue to contribute our county and Sakarya with our export and production targets. In order to reach our targets, we plan to employ 800 people in our country in the following months.’’ He also thanked to İŞKUR for their support.

Requirements & Manner of Application

Requirements:

Being a male and at least high school graduate
Must stay in Sakarya,
Military service completed or at least postponed by 6 months
Candidates who have these requirements can apply this course from the İŞKUR representatives in municipalities or Sakarya Provincial Directorate of Labor and Employment Agency.

Suppliers will become more powerful

Sakarya İŞKUR Manger Tekin Kaya, said ‘‘ TMMT supports our city’s employment level with great effort.TMMT restarted its operations and it affects its suppliers positively. All industries have an awareness about the necessary measures to prevent COVID19 effects. We are pleased this request of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkey's hiring 800 people.
He also mentioned, İŞKUR continues its incentives programs. After 1th of June, companies who proved to increase its employee number utilized employment incentives during the normalization process. In addition to all these, İŞKUR will continue to pay employees’ salaries up to six months who hired with job shadowing training.
