Traffic Safety – 2010

Due to the national traffic week, a local activity has been realised on 7 May 2010 in AFA Conference Hall. Hakkı Demir Primary School students have performed traffic related shows. During the event, traffic education kits have been delivered to 7500 primary school students in Adapazari. And an award ceremony for top 20 drawings of drawing competition about traffic and necessary rules has been realised with the participation of Toyota Turkiye SVP Mr.Orhan Özer.
 
During the event, Toyota Turkiye SVP Mr.Orhan Özer said: “Traffic is one of the major problems of our country. Human error is the biggest cause of car accidents. And accidents are caused by an individual's unconscious. We, Toyota TURKIYE believe the importance of traffic education at early ages in schools and by families. Therefore, we aim to contribute creation of more trafffic safety conscioussness people in future through focusing on primary school grade 1 students.
 
 This year our fifth year with this activity. This year, our volunteer employees also contributed to the activity. By taking this opportunity, I congratulate all successfull students and also all people who supported the activity. I hope traffic problem will not be among the major problems of our country and there will be more traffic safety consciousness people in the future”.
 
7500 units traffic education kits cover some games and school materials with traffic signs for children and a booklet for parents.
