Announcement From Toyota Motor Manufacturıng Turkiye About The Factory Fıre

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkiye has reported that the first interventions to the fire incident that has occurred on Saturday, August 8th at 09:01 AM in the production plant in Sakarya’s Arifiye district were done by Toyota Turkiye teams and the fire was fully contained in a short space of time.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkiye has reported that Toyota Turkiye teams were the first to respond to the partial fire that commenced through unexpected inflammation on Saturday, August 8th at 09.01 AM during planned maintenance work in the paint preparing process, only in the related unit, in the paint shop mix area and that the fire was fully contained in a short space of time.

To mitigate further risks and ensure extra support, Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality and other firefighting teams were called to the factory. It has been reported that one of the injured is currently being treated in the hospital while the other has been discharged.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing experts are not expecting any delays in manufacturing and have stated that the cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
