Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkiye Celebrates June As Environment Month

While TMMT continues to provide added value to the country's economy with its production and export figures, it also stands out with the steps it takes in the environment and the importance it attaches to sustainability. It has been celebrated as environment month since 1973 in all Toyota factories around the world.

TMMT aims to increase environmental awareness with the activities it carries out during the environment month, in addition to its efforts to encourage environmental passion. In this context, the World Environment Day Themed Inter-Primary School Painting Competition Award Ceremony was held, supported by SATSO, Sakarya Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization, Sakarya Provincial Police Department, Sakarya Provincial Directorate of National Education and TMMT.

At the award ceremony held at Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Necdet Şentürk, senior vice president of TMMT , said, “We strive for a greener and more liveable world where sustainable use of resources is adopted, biological diversity is protected and environmental pollution is prevented. Effective use of resources in our daily lives, reducing waste and giving priority to recycling activities, preventing unnecessary water and energy use are necessary for the protection of the environment. said.
