Eco Tour Activity

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkiye added a new social contribution activity to the others such as technical project competition, traffic safety awareness, soccer tournament which have been performing since 2006.
 
It is aiming with the eco tour activity to enhance environment awareness and to show the environmental friendly plant. Activity is for the elementary school 4 and 5 grade students. Visit programme will start with a presentation on “Toyota and environment” and will continue with the observation of environmental facilities including the green energy utilisation at Toyota Turkiye.
 
This year is the first time of the eco tour activity. As a first group, 60 students from the Arifiye distinct schools have been visited Toyota Turkiye on 19 November. Following group will be on 20 November and till April 2010, four other groups will be joined to eco tour activity. Totally around 400 students will be visited Toyota Turkey plant in the context of eco tour activitiy.
 
In the first eco tour activity, Toyota Turkiye Corporate Communications Manager Mr.Muhsin Güneşlik said “Today, environmental problems are the biggest concerns in our country and also in the world. Every individual small efforts can support to solve environmental problems. Your awareness will help to reduce the environmental impacts in the future. We thank Sakarya National Education Directorate and Arifiye Distinct National Education Directorate officials for the support to our project”.
