TMMT raising awareness of children on environment & traffic safety

Eco tour activity and traffic school activity which are 2 of TMMT's social contribution activities finalised in 2014-2015 education year.
 
Eco tour:
In this education year, 675 students who are 11th years old from 15 schools of Adapazarı district attended to eco tour activity. During the activity, children watch educative presentations and movies on environment in general and also activities of Toyota as an environmental friendly manufacturer. Children visit plant to discover manufacturing operations and visit environmental facilities such as wastewater treatment, solar energy utilisation areas, etc. TMMT environment volunteers have also supported to this activity especially during the waste segregation game played with the participation of all children. Activity reached 5 thousand people in 5 years.
 
Traffic school:
In this education year, 550 children has joined to the activity from 13 schools. Activity reached 3 thousand 5 hundred students since 2010. Children watch traffic safety movies and make practise on pedestrian cross-roads, seat belt usage and being visible in traffic environment.
