Toyota Turkiye Traffic Safety School Opening

Toyota Turkiye has been started a brand new social contribution activity called as "Traffic Safety School" in addition to continuing projects, Traffic Safet Awareness, Technical Project Competition, Eco Tours and Soccer Tournament. The purpose of project is to inform 3rd class students about basic traffic rules and to increase their awareness on subject.
 
Initially, 2 schools from Arifiye region have attended to the first implementation. In total, 400 students' participation to project is planned for this year. In addition to many local governmental authorities, Toyota Turkiye President & CEO Mr. Özer also attended to the opening ceremony on December 21, 2010. Toyota Turkiye traffic volunteers group has also contributed to the project.
 
Mr Özer has stated that "Early education on traffic issue is essential to create more awared generations. As an automotive manufacturer, we are aware of our responsibilities on this issue. Therefore, we generate projects and I hope traffic would be a minor issue in our country.
 
2011 Eco Tour Activity Has Been Started
 
Eco Tour activity for 5th classes has been started and will be continued with Serdivan district. This year, 1,200 students will attend to projects. This year, concept of the project is enlarged with support of Toyota Turkiye Environment Volunteers Group.
