Traditional Ekiden Race was Held at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkiye

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Turkiye (TMMT) held traditional "Ekiden" race on 18th October. This year, 385 runners - 35 teams participated in the event, which has been realizing since 2003. In Ekiden race 2015, "A team" from TMMT got champion title, being followed by Dragon team and One for All team.
Ekiden race is organized by TMMT aiming to strengthen teamwork and increase motivation of employees.
 
Ekiden, which means long distance race, was born in Japan in 1917. One team consists of deveral runners and they hand over a kind of belt named "tasuki" to each other in Ekiden. "Eki" means station in Japanese, and "den" means handing to the other one.
